Derek joined Good & Murray Smith LLP in 1982 and has over 35 years experience working in Litigation.

Derek has vast experience of preparing Personal Injury cases for trial. He has a deep understanding of practice and procedure in the Superior Courts and he works closely with the firm’s solicitors, outside counsel, witnesses and experts. Over the years, he has built strong relationships with a wide network of Barristers and Expert Witnesses which are key to the successful delivery of Good & Murray Smith’s LLP service to its clients.
